Young local Tallulah Farlam has won first prize in the 15 to 20 year old group of the Riding for the Disabled NSW art competition for her drawing titled ‘Horses in
Lockdown’.
The competition is an annual event run by Riding for the Disabled NSW.
“Lulu, a keen rider, no doubt misses her horses and weekly ride at RDA in Young, which has inspired her to draw a masterpiece of creativity and imagination. Wouldn’t we all like to be doing this on an island? Congratulations to Lulu for a well-deserved win which will put a smile on all our faces,” said Juliet McFarlane from RDA Young.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, RDA Young has suspended lessons until 2021.
