BOOROWA CENTRAL SCHOOL
Technical and Applied Studies (TAS):The Boorowa Central School Year 7 TAS class are currently studying a unit of work in timber. They have been learning different timber joins and safety in a timber room. They have all been working well and trying their best to have a great finished product.
BRIBBAREE PUBLIC SCHOOL
Bribbaree Public School received a generous donation from the Young Fishing Club in 2019. This year we were able to use the funds to take the students to the Fish Museum in Canowindra and then an afternoon of learning the sport of fishing. The excursion was co-ordinated to enhance the students knowledge in science and their environment.
MAIMURU PUBLIC SCHOOL
Lessons at Maimuru Public School are targeted, engaging and interactive. Mathematical learning is critical at Maimuru with teachers employing a wide variety of differentiated strategies to meet the individual learning needs of all our students.
WOMBAT PUBLIC SCHOOL
At Wombat Public School we enjoy our weekly kitchen and garden session. On this occasion we harvested radish, lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes, beans, zucchinis, beetroot and spring onions for our kitchen group. We dined on a lovely fresh salad, a torte and a chocolate and beetroot cake for dessert. A delicious feast, all planted, harvested and prepared by our students!

MONTEAGLE PUBLIC SCHOOL
Each year on Clean Up Australia Day we plant our vegetables for winter. As our veges grow, they are sent home to families for them to cook and enjoy. We also plant summer vegetables so that we can all enjoy veges all year round. Not only do we send home veges but we send home fresh eggs as well, which are laid daily by our school chooks.
HENNESSY CATHOLIC COLLEGE
Hennessy College has four vertical House groups - Gallagher, Nagle, McAuley and Rice. Each year the houses are responsible for hosting various events. Hennessy College’s Gallagher House held a colour run in conjunction with our annual cross country. This social justice initive was held to raise much needed funds for the St Vincent de Paul Society. The students raised in excess of $1200. Well done, Gallagher!
