The bus shelter at Murrumburrah High School will be upgraded after receiving a NSW Government grant from the Country Passenger Transport Infrastructure Grants Scheme (CPTIGS).

The CPTIGS subsidises the construction or upgrading of bus stop infrastructure owned and maintained by local councils across rural and regional NSW. The shelter will be upgraded to meet accessibility standards. The project will meet the Disability Standards for Accessible Public Transport.

Member for Cootamundra Steph Cooke said, “All projects announced will help to make public transport and connections between bus stops more accessible with features such as connecting paths, signage, tactile indicators, and furniture such as seating.”
