Justice Crew are bringing their 10 year anniversary tour to Young this Friday night when they perform at the Young Services Club at 7pm. We caught up with them ahead of the show.
What made you decide to visit Young on the anniversary tour?
We wanted to celebrate our 10 years of music and dance with as many supporters and fans as possible and Young is definitely included in our extended family.
What is your favourite song to perform?
We love to perform Boom Boom because it still gets the crowd going and as the song suggests, “It’s getting hot in here,” we also have an excuse to remove our shirts.
What was it like performing on America’s Got Talent: The Champions?
It was an amazing experience to perform on American prime time tv with more than 50 million viewers worldwide. It was such a privilege to perform for the man himself, Simon Cowell and receive a standing ovation.
If you could sing a duet or collaborate with anyone, dead or alive, who would it be?
A duet or collaboration with Michael Jackson would be a dream come true.
Is a country song on the cards for the future?
I don’t think it would be a suitable choice for the group but you never know where music trends end up. So we will keep that option open.
Where is the one place you haven’t performed yet but would like to?
We would love to perform in Europe, we haven’t been there as a group yet and is hopefully not too far away in the future.
What’s next for Justice Crew?
New music, new tours and constant growth and development as artists. We are also introducing an online store for merchandise which can be found at www.justicecrew.com
