Local teams both have home games in first division, with Young Services Club Blues set to take on the Temora ExServices Club Renegades at Gus Smith. The Australian Hotel Coyotes play Temora Shamrock Hotel at Cranfield Hotel.
In Blooms Chemist/BFB Division 2, the Criterion Hotel Gunners take on the Temora Bowling Club Tigers at Sawpit Gully; Burrangong CC Cubs play the Bribbaree Rams CC; Temora ExServices Lions take on the Murringo Mavericks CC; and Stockinbingal CC have a bye.
As per the NSW health public health order in regards to the return to community sport all participants and spectators over the age of 16 need to have two COVID-19 vaccinations or a medical exemption.
COVIDsafe plans will be in place, and all attendees will need to sign in via the Service NSW QR code.
South West Slopes Cricket League Secretary/Treasurer Jason Hall is looking forward to a great start to the season with four home matches in Young.
“We look forward to a safe and successful season now that community sport is finally allowed back on the park and we look forward to welcoming the teams back, both new and old,” he said.
“Our sponsors remain the same and we thank them wholeheartedly for their unwavering support. Delta Agribusiness, Blooms Chemist, BFB, South West Slopes Credit Union and Kookaburra Australia, without their support we couldn’t provide the competition that we do.”
