The Harden Tennis Club’s final competition for 2020 was recently completed, with 15 players playing a total of 86 matches.

The competition was held over 8 weeks and will be the last competition held at the current courts.

First place went to Lyn on a score of 29, with 18 matches and 93 winning games. Second place went to Harvey on a score of 27, with 17 matches and 76 winning games. Third place went to Di on a score of 24, with 15 matches and 72 winning games.

Harden Tennis Club’s Treasurer Mike said, “It was great to see so many join the competition and come and play each week. We would like to congratulate everyone for playing, but in particular the top three winners.”

The courts are currently still open for play. Tuesday night casual tennis begins at 6.30pm and is $3 per person or have a hit with the folks on Tuesday morning at 9am. “If you don’t have a racquet, that is no problem. We have racquets at the Club you can borrow,” said Mike.

Anyone interested can contact one of the Committee members. At the recent AGM, the executive was elected. Bronwyn Ryan is President, Lyn Percival is Vice President, Robynn Sargent is Secretary and Mike Mehr is Treasurer.
