Service NSW cost of living drought impact specialists are part of the team visiting Harden later this month.
There are up to 70 drought-specific rebates and savings to apply for. These as well as the myriad of state government services can be discussed on Tuesday June 22 when the service centre van is open.
Cootamundra MP Steph Cooke said while every country NSW community can’t have a physical centre, the visit will help get important tasks done locally.
“I am so pleased the Service NSW Mobile Service Van is returning to Harden. This ensures local people can get vital tasks done like license renewals, without having to travel to a larger centre,” she said.
“Many of the communities of the Cootamundra electorate have older residents, families with young children or people who don’t have the time to travel and it’s important we bring these services to them.”
This is a chance to have one on one discussions on your access to services, rebates and more.
The service centre van will be parked opposite the Library, and open from 9am until 12pm.
Complete a Driver Knowledge Test, get a permit or Seniors Card and register a birth.
No appointments are required, but you are advised to plan ahead.
Prepare paperwork and supporting documents and new photocards will be posted within 10 business days.
The Mobile Service Centre will be cashless, with payment options including cheque, EFTPOS or credit card.
