On the 13th December a small group gathered to unveil a plaque at the rotunda in the Boorowa’s Recreation Park.
The rotunda was built in 2009 and was a joint effort between the Boorowa Rotary Club, the Lions Club of Boorowa and Boorowa Apex (no longer in existence). Although it has taken 11 years to get the plaque in place, the rotunda has not been idle. Countless events have taken place under its roof, and many friendship groups use it for regular coffee catchups. The rotunda adds shade and elegance to Boorowa’s broad, leafy Recreation Park and is a wonderful asset to the community and town’s many visitors.
