The Boorowa Gun Club has made the difficult decision to cancel their upcoming July competition shoot.
The Club Committee decided to cancel the shoot due to health and safety concerns surrounding the coronavirus pandemic and not wanting to encourage people to travel to the shoot given the current situation.
The July shoot is a special competition for the Club as they hold the Barry Cooper Memorial 25 Target Handicap and the Dennis Smith Memorial event as part of the shoot.
The Club reopened for practice seven weeks ago after closing due to government regulations to help prevent the spread of coronavirus. Social distancing measures were incorporated and the Club is constantly monitoring for any changes to State and
Federal Government health advice and warnings.
