While that window of freedom from lockdown tempted thoughts of travel and Christmas plans with family from afar, dammit you didn’t get around to having a haircut.
And look, now we’re back with stay-at-home orders for seven days from 6pm tonight (Friday September 17).
Anyone who has been in Young since Friday September 3, is under lockdown orders.
Stay-at-home orders mean you can only leave your place of residence for a reasonable excuse, including to:
- obtain food or other goods and services locally
- leave home to go to work if you cannot reasonably work from home and the business is allowed to be open
- exercise and take outdoor recreation within your local government area or, if you need to cross into another local government area, stay within 5km of your home
- go out for medical or caring reasons, including obtaining a COVID-19 vaccination.
Inspiration: Prioritising Self care during lockdown.
Keep in mind this is a quick call that’s be made to nip any further infection in the bud as many questions about COVID-19 in the area have been raised with NSW Health.
*“As we navigate another lockdown, it is important to focus on what you can personally control in your life and focus less on the other things outside our control.” *
