Over 60 quilts will be on display at the Lions Club of Young Annual Quilt Show on the weekend.
The display is divided into large and small, with features from Canberra, Cowra, Wagga Wagga, Bribbaree and Young quilters at Young Town Hall.
There are three carrying the theme of ‘flying our colours’ combining the Lions Club colours of purple and yellow.
Renowned needleworker Michelle Marvig will be opening the exhibition and hosting a trunk show, showing quilts she’s designed and made as well as fabrics she’s designed.
Organiser and Lions Club member Carmel Price said it offers a tourism boost and the excellence of country quilters.
“With Michelle opening, it displays how valuable the show is in our town,” Mrs Price said.
“The show began eleven years ago. It’s heritage shows we’ve got great quilters here.”
Opening hours will be 10am to 4pm both days.
